Behind the Camera - Long Exposure

One of the things I love most about long exposure photography is the way it seems to transform a scene from what your eyes can see into something from a dream.  This was a 91 second exposure taken at Beaver island State Park.

Great leading lines and an excellent example of making a composition interesting by “getting low”

After renting that cool Canon 100mm macro lens I decided to give my extension tube another go. This was taken with the 24-105 f/4 attached to a Canon extension tube.

I’ve been taking photos since I was about 8 years old but only recently started taking photography seriously since 2012. Seeing and sharing photos on Google+ has helped me grow my skills. I see my digital RAW files as starting points and am unapologetic about editing an image until it fits my vision.
My favorite styles are black and white, long exposure, and abstract. I feel I can bring a fresh look to almost anything given the opportunity.

Thank you lensblr-network !!!
